Green Tea Leaf Extract - Derived from the unfermented leaves of the plant native to mainland southeast Asia, it contains two active groups, xanthines and catechins, which suppress inflammation and irritation and act as powerful anti-oxidants.
Lactic Acid - Derived from the fermentation of milk, it is an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that acts as a keratolytic, helping to encourage the shedding of cells in the stratum corneum to encourage new cell growth. Also acts as a hygroscopic substance (humectant), having the ability to attract or absorb water molecules from the surrounding environment.
Allantoin - Derived from the root of the comfrey plant, native to Europe and temperate areas of Asia. Allantoin acts as a keratolytic agent, which is used to soften the epidermis.
